The Palestinian Community and the Union of Doctors of Palestine in Hungary Succeed in Delivering Some Aid to Our Children in Gaza

Sada News - Amid the unjust blockade and the worsening conditions in Gaza due to the policy of starvation that has claimed many lives, the efforts of the Union of Doctors and Pharmacists of Palestine in Hungary, in collaboration with the administrative body of the Palestinian community, have succeeded in delivering food parcels and securing food for southern Gaza, at a time when the food crisis has intensified with the tightening of the blockade on Gaza. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Nader, President of the Union of Doctors and Pharmacists of Palestine in Hungary, stated that they apologize for every minute they were late in delivering what they could due to the difficulties known to everyone, adding that the union has been attempting since the beginning of the genocide to deliver medicines and medical equipment, but the restrictions imposed by the occupier have hindered this, leading to some of the supplies being directed to the camps in Lebanon. He noted that they are in communication with the relevant authorities in Hungary to try to receive injured individuals whose medical treatment the union would cover, but approval has not yet been granted. For his part, Mr. Ayman Douglas, Secretary of the Palestinian community, stated that despite their happiness with the aid and food parcels, they feel ashamed that they could not deliver more. He added that despite this, they will continue working in their endeavors and movements towards the people of Palestine in the homeland, diaspora, and exile, and will persist in supporting our students and children in Hungary. Douglas concluded by saying that if there is a message we can convey through this initiative, it is: One pain… One people… One homeland. It is worth mentioning that this initiative comes as a continuation of activities carried out by the Union of Palestinian Doctors and Pharmacists in Hungary and the Palestinian community, such as sending several shipments of medical devices and medicines to the resilient camps in Lebanon, sending food parcels to Gaza during the ongoing genocide there, opening a clinic to treat Palestinians for free in Hungary, and providing assistance to our student children, in addition to other initiatives in Hungarian society.
