Colonizers Attack Shalal Al-Auja Village North of Jericho and Threaten to Burn Properties
SadaNews - Extreme colonizers stormed the village of Shalal Al-Auja this morning, Tuesday, north of Jericho, and assaulted Bedouin citizens while they were on their lands, as part of a systematic escalation aimed at forcibly displacing them.
The general supervisor of the "Bieder" organization for the defense of Bedouin rights, Hasan Malihat, reported that the colonizers, backed by the occupying army, physically assaulted the locals with sticks, unleashed trained dogs towards them, and threatened to burn their properties if they did not leave the area.
Malihat explained that this attack falls within the framework of an organized policy of forced displacement targeting the residents of Bedouin communities in areas classified as "C," with the aim of expanding settlement control and imposing a new demographic reality in the region.
The residents of Shalal Al-Auja, like other Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley, suffer from recurring assaults on their lands and homes.
