The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Discusses Political and Field Developments with the Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine
SadaNews - Today, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, received at the headquarters of the General Secretariat the Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine, Ambassador Hadi Shabali, who briefed him on the latest developments in the State of Palestine, particularly the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, as well as the violations and crimes perpetrated by the Israeli occupation in the West Bank, including Al-Quds Al-Sharif. This also includes the racist statements and calls made by Israeli ministers and officials regarding the annexation of the West Bank and the imposition of the so-called Israeli sovereignty over it.
The Secretary-General reiterated the organization's constant commitment to continue efforts on the international stage to impose an immediate and permanent ceasefire, to allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, to provide international protection for the Palestinian people, and to rally support for the two-state solution in accordance with the relevant United Nations resolutions.
