Thousands of protesters in Paris call for an end to the genocide in Gaza
SadaNews - Thousands of protesters took to the streets of the French capital, Paris, in a march under the slogan "Stop the genocide in Gaza," in response to calls from pro-Palestine organizations.
The protesters gathered in the famous Place de la République on Saturday, carrying Palestinian flags on their shoulders and in their hands, and then marched to the Place de la Bastille.
The participants in the march chanted slogans demanding an end to the "genocide" being perpetrated by Israel, the occupying power, in the Gaza Strip.
Some individuals were seen wearing accessories and bags bearing the "watermelon" symbol, which has become a symbol of solidarity with Palestine.
The participants also protested against the targeting of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupying army in Gaza, calling for a boycott of brands supporting Israel. They demanded the lifting of the Israeli blockade to allow humanitarian aid into the territory.
One protester displayed a sign on his chest that read: "I dream of seeing Palestine free one day." Meanwhile, another person held a small doll covered in red and wrapped in a shroud, in reference to the child victims in Gaza.
