Interior Ministry in Gaza: Prohibits dealings or cooperation with what is called the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" and its local and foreign agents

SadaNews - The Interior Ministry in the Gaza Strip, along with the National Security, warned on Thursday against any dealings or cooperation, whether direct or indirect, with the American organization known as the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" (GHF) or with any of its local or foreign agents, under any name or circumstance.

The ministry stated in a declaration that it has been proven that this organization was not established for the purpose of relief or alleviating the suffering of our besieged people, "but has transformed through its structure and mechanisms of work into dangerous security and military tools that target Palestinians in their lives and dignity, and it operates as a front for the plans of the Israeli occupation, with its activities resulting in the deaths and injuries of hundreds around its affiliated centers, in addition to arbitrary arrests of civilians, making it a death trap managed away from any international or legal oversight."

It warned against the occupation's attempts, through this organization, to recruit Palestinian citizens to work in these centers, "under the guise of "logistical" or "security" tasks, exploiting the difficult humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip, which constitutes a clear violation of national laws and threatens societal security."

The Interior Ministry confirmed that any dealings or cooperation with the American organization known as the "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" (GHF) or its agents, whether inside or outside the Gaza Strip, are strictly prohibited.

It clarified that the relevant authorities will take strict legal measures against anyone proven to be involved in providing any kind of support, cover, or coordination with this organization, stressing that penalties will be enforced to the maximum extent according to the applicable national laws.

The ministry also urged all citizens to be aware of their national responsibility and to bear the ethical and legal responsibility in confronting these malicious attempts that target the cohesion of Palestinian society from within.

It appealed to dignitaries, families, and media outlets to play their role in raising public awareness and exposing any suspicious activities that serve the occupation under the guise of humanitarian work.
