Holy Lands Takaful Insurance Company Announces Launch of Initial Public Offering of Its Shares Starting August 2, 2026
SadaNews - The Holy Lands Takaful Insurance Company announced during a press conference held today the launch of its initial public offering (IPO) of the company's shares, starting from Sunday, August 2, 2026, and continuing until Tuesday, August 25, 2026, through all branches of the Palestinian Islamic Bank and the Arab Islamic Bank.
Mr. Abdul Ghani Dhadhaheh/Al Attari, Chairman of the Board of Directors, confirmed that the IPO represents a strategic milestone in the company's journey, culminating years of institutional work and responsible planning, and reflects confidence in the company’s vision and its ability to achieve sustainable growth. He pointed out that this step is part of expanding the shareholder base and enhancing governance and transparency, in line with the company's future plans.
He clarified that the Holy Lands Takaful Insurance Company was founded on a clear vision that aims to provide Takaful insurance services in accordance with Islamic law, while adhering to the highest standards of professionalism, innovation, and governance, contributing to meeting the needs of the Palestinian market and enhancing the role of the insurance sector in supporting the national economy.
He noted that the company is opening its doors today for investors to participate in building a promising national institution, based on strong financial foundations and a long-term strategic vision, emphasizing that the offering represents an opportunity for investors to contribute to the company's growth journey and benefit from its future prospects.
He indicated that the company enjoys a strong financial position, with a capital of fifteen million US dollars (15,000,000 USD), having achieved the highest solvency margin for the second consecutive year at a rate of 229%, reflecting the robustness of its financial position and its efficient risk management, and enhancing investors' confidence in its ability to achieve sustainable growth. The company has also distributed cash dividends to its shareholders at a rate of 5%, reflecting the strength of its financial performance and its commitment to achieving sustainable value for its shareholders.
The Chairman of the Board stated that the number of shares offered for the IPO is 1,817,500 shares, which will be offered at the nominal value of one US dollar (1 USD per share), allowing investors the opportunity to participate in the offering under fair and clear terms as outlined in the approved prospectus.
He added that the success of national companies is not only measured by their financial results but also by their ability to create added value for the national economy, enhance investment, provide growth opportunities, and reinforce confidence in the Palestinian market, confirming that the IPO represents the beginning of a new phase of expansion and innovation, and a launch towards broader horizons of excellence and leadership.
