Ministry of Finance: A Payment on Account of the Salary for January Tomorrow, Monday

SadaNews - In extremely complex circumstances, the Ministry of Finance and Planning has worked over the past weeks to secure all possible financial resources that would allow for the payment of the highest possible percentage of employee salaries, especially in light of the Israeli government's continued piracy of deduction funds for the twelfth consecutive month, alongside the decline in local revenue as a direct reflection of the regional conflict, and the difficulty in securing additional bank loans.

These efforts have resulted in securing an amount of 2000 shekels as a payment from the January salary 1/2026, for all civil and military public sector employees, from all grades and ranks, to be disbursed tomorrow, Monday, April 20, 2026.

While the Ministry of Finance and Planning praises the resilience of public sector employees and their continued provision of services to their people despite all hardships and challenges at both individual and collective levels, it reaffirms its commitment to continue every possible effort, exploring all doors and avenues; to ensure the ongoing disbursement of the highest possible percentage of salaries in the coming months, while also confirming that employees' entitlements will remain a liability with the Ministry of Finance and Planning to be paid when financial means allow it.
