Palestine Bank and the 'We Teach for Palestine' Foundation Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement to Develop the Educational Environment in Schools
SadaNews Economy - In a move that reflects a firm commitment to investing in the Palestinian people, Palestine Bank and the 'We Teach for Palestine' Foundation signed a strategic partnership agreement aimed at contributing to the development of the educational environment within a number of schools in the West Bank and Jerusalem Governorate, contributing to enhancing the quality of education and developing school infrastructure.
The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Palestine Bank's General Administration in Ramallah, in the presence of the bank's General Manager Mr. Mahmoud Al-Shawa, Executive Director Mrs. Nour Matour, and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the 'We Teach for Palestine' Foundation Dr. Tufida Al-Jarbawi, along with a select group of officials and representatives from both sides.
The partnership focuses on preparing modern and integrated educational environments by providing schools with modern educational tools and suitable classroom equipment, in addition to introducing advanced technological tools including interactive boards and display screens, keeping pace with the latest global educational practices. These interventions are expected to create stimulating and flexible learning spaces that enhance critical thinking among students and support interactive learning and teamwork.
The agreement also includes the implementation of qualitative training programs targeting educational staff, aimed at developing teachers' skills and enhancing their ability to employ modern technology in the educational process, positively reflecting on the quality of educational outcomes and enhancing the efficiency of the educational system as a whole.
In this context, the General Manager of Palestine Bank, Mr. Mahmoud Al-Shawa, confirmed that the bank is driven by a deep belief that investing in education is the cornerstone for building a sustainable future, noting that this agreement is part of the bank's developmental vision aimed at supporting initiatives that empower students and teachers, enhancing their ability to keep pace with the rapid changes in the world of knowledge.
Al-Shawa added that this partnership with the 'We Teach for Palestine' Foundation represents an effective model for integration between the banking and developmental sectors, leading to a tangible and sustainable impact on the development of the educational environment, and building a creative generation capable of innovation and actively contributing to the revival of society.
For her part, Dr. Tufida Al-Jarbawi, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the 'We Teach for Palestine' Foundation, stressed that this partnership represents an advanced strategic step towards improving the quality of education in public schools, by providing modern educational environments that embrace creativity and enhance innovation, enabling teachers to lead the educational process in more advanced and effective ways.
She added that the foundation will work, through this project, to implement qualitative programs that contribute to developing teachers' capabilities and optimizing the use of technology in education, achieving a real transformation in teaching methods, and leaving a sustainable impact on the level of the beneficiary schools and the educational community as a whole.
