The new board of directors of "Ataa Palestine" holds its first meeting after its election discussing the plans and programs of the relief association for the year 2026
SadaNews - The new board of directors of the "Ataa Palestine" association held its first meeting after being elected by the general assembly, via Zoom technology, on Thursday, which included adopting recommendations for the association's relief and charitable programs for the year (2026).
The new board discussed the plans and programs of the association for the current year (2026) in cooperation with partners and donors, specifically focusing on charitable and relief programs for the blessed month of (Ramadan).
The "Ataa Palestine" association had announced the launch of its Ramadan charitable campaign "Ataa for Gaza 2026", which includes distributing iftar meals to poor and needy families in the Gaza Strip through the "Iftar for the Fasting" charity, which will continue throughout the blessed month of Ramadan, in addition to distributing Ramadan food parcels consisting of (18) essential items.
The council approved new mechanisms to develop the association's work in line with recent recommendations, reframing humanitarian and relief priorities to enhance the quality of its programs in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as working on making qualitative changes that improve the relief and care quality for "Dar al-Raja".
Regarding relief and charitable programs, the council adopted recommendations related to the "Orphan Sponsorship" program for the year 2026, which aims to increase the number of orphans who have lost one or both parents that will be included in the program.
The "Ataa Palestine" association is an independent non-profit Palestinian national institution, established in (2010). It formed an extension of the "Ataa Gaza" foundation, which was founded in (2003), and its activities cover all Palestinian areas in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and Jerusalem. It works in partnership with the private sector and has worked since its establishment on hundreds of qualitative projects, including relief programs, cultural empowerment, vocational training, and sustainable development, in order to promote social, economic, environmental, and cultural justice in Palestine.
