Ministry of Economy: 930 Complaints in 2025, Most of Them Electronic
SadaNews - The results of the annual report issued by the Complaints Unit in the Ministry of National Economy revealed that the unit dealt with a total of 930 complaints submitted by citizens in 2025, most of which focused on issues related to e-commerce, along with complaints concerning commercial fraud, price increases, and the inconsistency of products with the advertised specifications.
The report indicated that the highest number of complaints was recorded in the governorates of Ramallah, Al-Bireh, and Hebron, noting that complaints related to e-commerce topped the list, especially those concerning fraudulent and misleading pages.
A significant number of citizens reported that the products purchased online did not match the displayed specifications, in addition to the difficulties they faced in the processes of returns or exchanges.
The ministry emphasized the importance of consumer awareness and the necessity of reporting any violations, urging citizens to submit their complaints, reports, and inquiries related to the work of the Ministry of National Economy through the electronic platform "Bihammona" .
