Housing Bank Sponsors Event for Birzeit Municipality on Palestinian Heritage Day

SadaNews - The Housing Bank sponsored a central event organized by the Birzeit Municipality in the schools of the region on the occasion of Palestinian Heritage Day, in partnership with the Directorate of Education and Higher Education - Birzeit.

The event was held at the Latin Patriarchate School in Birzeit, with the presence of Birzeit Mayor Nidal Shahin, Director of Education in the Birzeit Office, Mr. Nasrallah Abu Hajal, religious figures Father Nidal Kanzoua, pastor of the Church of Our Lady of Peace, and Father Stavros Aranki, pastor of the Orthodox Church, along with the branch manager of the Housing Bank in Birzeit, Ashraf Abu Salem, representatives of security institutions including Fadl Abu Khar' for the Birzeit Police Department, and representative of the Preventive Security Office in Birzeit, Nizar Shahin, as well as the participation of school directors and local community institutions.

In turn, the regional director of the Housing Bank, Osama Harzallah, confirmed that the bank always strives to support cultural initiatives and believes in the importance of preserving cultural heritage and passing it on to future generations by supporting activities that deepen the community's connection to its roots and history, in line with its commitment to social responsibility and its eagerness to contribute to events that celebrate cultural values.

Mayor Nidal Shahin emphasized during his participation in the event the importance of enhancing the cultural scene in the city, pointing out that Birzeit is keen on preserving popular heritage and carries a rich national historical and cultural legacy.
At the conclusion of the event, the Birzeit Municipality expressed its gratitude and appreciation to the Housing Bank for their generous support and sponsorship of this event and for their effective contribution to the success of this distinguished national and cultural event.
