Under the slogan "A Drop of Blood Equals a Life," Housing Bank Organizes a Blood Donation Campaign in Ramallah

SadaNews - The Housing Bank, in cooperation with the Blood Bank and the Thalassemia Patients Friends Association, organized a blood donation campaign in front of the bank's regional administration building in Ramallah, with wide participation from its employees. This initiative reflects the spirit of giving and humanitarian values, as part of the bank's significant commitment to social responsibility.

For his part, Mr. Ibrahim Malhim, Deputy Regional Manager and Banking Operations Manager at the Housing Bank, expressed his happiness in organizing this noble humanitarian event and affirmed that the bank's participation and the cooperation among all parties reflects the spirit of social responsibility and reinforces humanitarian values. He stressed that donating blood is not merely a voluntary act but a means of saving the lives of others and a beacon of hope for patients in need of support. Malhim thanked the management of the Thalassemia Patients Friends Association and the blood bank's staff for their efforts in this campaign.

In turn, Mr. Muhammad Khaled Bakr, Deputy Regional Manager and Operations and Support Manager at the Housing Bank, confirmed that this initiative reflects the values of initiative, giving, and solidarity, especially as a drop of blood can save a person’s life and heal a patient. Moreover, Yasser Al-Nabali, Deputy Director of the Blood Bank and Blood Donation Campaign Coordinator, thanked the management of the Housing Bank and the Thalassemia Patients Friends Association for their participation in launching this campaign and raising awareness about voluntary blood donation to save thalassemia patients and patients in general.

In addition, Dr. Iyad Sunduqa, President of the Thalassemia Patients Friends Association, expressed his gratitude to the Housing Bank for this initiative, which he embraced with a generous spirit. He affirmed the importance of the units of blood donated to save the lives of thalassemia patients, indicating that the Housing Bank is the first to adopt this initiative and encourage its employees to participate.
