Warnings About the Impact of the Gaza Occupation on Israel's Economy
SadaNews - The Israeli website Walla reported that former officials and 80 economic experts warned in a statement about the repercussions of the occupation of the city of Gaza on Israel's economy.
It mentioned that the signatories of the statement indicated that the occupation of the city of Gaza could lead to an economic crisis, increased taxes, and damage to the credit rating.
The signatories also stated that the occupation of the city of Gaza would result in a brain drain from Israel and a sharp decline in local production, warning that military rule over Gaza could cost more than 60 billion shekels and may lead to economic sanctions.
