Quds Bank Launches Special Initiative for Borrowing Employees in Gaza Strip
SadaNews: Quds Bank announced the launch of a special initiative for borrowing employees in the Gaza Strip who have outstanding loans with the bank, based on the guidance from the Palestinian Monetary Authority No. (11/2025) issued on 13/7/2025, related to the mechanisms for dealing with loan installments and financing in the Gaza Strip, and in light of the exceptional circumstances; and driven by the bank's commitment to its social and national responsibility.
The bank's initiative is as follows: "Quds Bank will cover the full loan installment due for the salary transfer of the current month for the year 2025 for borrowing employees in Gaza."
Starting from the salaries of the upcoming months until the end of this year 2025, Quds Bank will bear 50% of the installment value for the salary transfer, while the employee will pay the remaining percentage (50%) of the transferred installment.
This step is part of the bank's efforts to ease the burden on our people in the Gaza Strip and support them amidst the current conditions, affirming our role as a national partner in enhancing community resilience and achieving financial balance for our clients.
The bank points out that this initiative does not fall under the framework of delaying installments but rather represents a partial exemption and direct assumption by the bank to cover part of the financial obligations on behalf of the client.
