The Future of the Jewish Minority in Palestine and the Experience of the South African System

The title may seem surprising, but this is the reality in Palestine between the sea and the river. This is one of the main reasons for the existential historical impasse experienced by the occupying Zionist state, which puts both it and all components of the Jewish community in a state of tension, prompting it to carry out genocide and ethnic cleansing, as well as its war against Iran and Hezbollah.

The political and demographic future in historical Palestine indicates that current conditions are similar to the late period of the apartheid regime in South Africa, where the racist regime was one of the strongest militarily and technologically in southern Africa, practicing a system of "apartheid" or racial segregation and discrimination against the indigenous population, despite whites representing only a quarter of the state's population. Nevertheless, the racist system collapsed due to the struggle of the South African people led by Nelson Mandela, due to its rejection by countries around the world and the United Nations, and the sanctions imposed by world countries upon it.

Today, Israel is experiencing the same situation; it is undoubtedly the strongest country in the region militarily and technologically, but Jews constitute a minority in Palestine, where the number of Palestinians in mandatory Palestine—between the sea and the river—exceeds that of Jews. Israel practices apartheid, similar to the racist regime in South Africa, even intensifying it with genocide, ethnic cleansing, and torture of prisoners.
Today, the world is beginning to discover the falsehood of the Zionist narrative and the racism of Israel; there are international trials and condemnations for its leaders from the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice, and several countries—including European ones—are beginning to reconsider their relations with Israel and to boycott it in various fields—culturally, academically, economically, and artistically. Furthermore, demonstrations are sweeping the capitals of the world demanding freedom for Palestine, just as was happening in the late period of the racist regime in South Africa.

All of this indicates that Israel is following in the footsteps of the apartheid regime in South Africa, which puts the Israeli racist system and the Jewish minority in Palestine before three choices:
1- To continue its wars and aggression inside and outside Palestine until it achieves its impossible goal of displacing the majority of the population of the West Bank and Gaza outside Palestine, facing international opposition and logistical difficulties.
2- The one democratic state solution: dismantling the racist system and establishing a secular state that grants equal rights to all its inhabitants (Palestinians and Jews), similar to the South Africa model post-1994 as proposed by the Palestinian Liberation Organization in 1971.
3- A true two-state solution: completely ending the occupation and granting Palestinians their freedom by establishing a fully sovereign independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, allowing it to live securely alongside its neighbors.
