Between Islamic and Jewish Religious Extremism

Since the emergence of contemporary political Islamic groups in the early twentieth century, starting with the "Muslim Brotherhood", the Arab and Islamic worlds - wherever one looks - have witnessed wars and civil conflicts sparked by these groups or forming an essential part of them. The damage caused by the wars of these groups is no less than that caused by colonialism and wars with Israel, without any measurable achievements, be they scientific or economic; instead, they led to the destruction of the foundations for the revival of nations, spreading backwardness and ignorance, and promoting a religious culture that is far removed from true Islam. Moreover, Islam and Muslims have not become closer to God or true Islam; rather, Muslims have been divided into believers and infidels; anyone who is not part of the Muslim Brotherhood is classified as outside Islam, and those who do not support "Hezbollah" or "Soldiers of God" are labeled as supporters of "the Party of Satan", a classification that extends to thousands of groups bearing religious names. Notably, many of these groups are products of the West or funded by it.

The most horrific crimes committed by these groups relate to the Palestinian cause; many have warned against turning the struggle in Palestine into a religious conflict, particularly with the rise of (jihadist) movements in Palestine that have added a religious dimension to the conflict with Israel, coinciding with the rise of religious right-wing movements in Israel and the West.

At that time, religious movements resisted these voices and insisted on their approach and positions, claiming that more than two billion Muslims stand with them, and that an Islamic advance is coming to liberate Jerusalem, the holy sites, and all of Palestine! The validity of the opinions of those opposing the religious framing of the conflict in Palestine has been confirmed; Israel and the global Zionist movement have managed to amplify the Islamic threat and promote "Islamophobia", blurring the line between legitimate Palestinian resistance and the terrorism practiced by some extremist Islamist groups.

One might say that the manifestations of religious extremism among Jews - especially after the rise of right-wing parties with Netanyahu - are greater than those among Muslims, and this is a correct statement. However, the state of the Zionist entity has succeeded, by employing religious discourse and biblical myths, in mobilizing all Jews around the world as well as right-wing Christian movements and parties in America and the West in general, and even in India; while the efforts of the vast majority of Muslims have been limited to slogans and the exploitation of the Palestinian cause for internal political calculations. As for the (jihadist) groups, they have gone to fight everywhere in the world except for Palestine, and the West - particularly Washington - has assisted in creating extremist Islamist groups.
