Huckabee's Statements Reveal the Falsehood of Trump's Peace and Reinforce Religious Conflict

The statements of the racist Zionist Mike Huckabee, Washington's ambassador to Tel Aviv, made yesterday during an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, claiming that Jews have the right to dominate all Middle Eastern countries, are not merely passing remarks; they disclose the reality of Washington's perspective on the conflict in the Middle East. These statements are inseparable from Trump's vision of "Abrahamic peace," as well as his previous assertion that Israel is a "small country entitled to expand," alongside the positions and statements of the right-wing Israeli government, including the map presented by Netanyahu to the media, which encompasses the so-called Greater Israel "from the Nile to the Euphrates." They are also closely tied to Washington's rejection of a Palestinian state, as well as the American military buildup in the region, which exceeds the aim of deterring Iran.

Strangely and sadly, the reactions of the concerned Arab and Islamic countries, as well as the people, political parties, and the Palestinian Authority, were limited to shy statements denouncing these remarks. We have not heard of any state summoning its American ambassador in protest or inquiry regarding these statements, which contradict what Trump claims about striving for peace and friendship with regional countries.

The danger of these assertions— which have neither been rejected nor apologized for by the American administration—lies in their revival and reinforcement of religious conflict, granting the right to non-Jews to respond with religious discourse to claims attributed to the Torah.

Those in Israel and their supporters among Jewish and non-Jewish Zionists, who are currently insulting Islam and Muslims while denying their gratitude towards them, overlook that had it not been for the Holy Quran— which not only mentions their narratives but also praises (their prophets)—and the fact that Muslims hosted Jews after their expulsion from Andalusia in 1492, particularly to the Maghreb, the news of the Jews would have been obliterated; the world would have heard nothing of them, or at least, in the Arab and Islamic worlds, there would be hostility toward the Jewish faith and a lack of protection for Jews.
