When Netanyahu Escapes from the Palestinian Reality

We are aware of the extent of what our people in the Gaza Strip are facing in terms of death, hunger, destruction, and the risk of displacement, as well as what the Palestinian West Bank is suffering from settlement, annexation plans, and the displacement of residents to Jordan. Additionally, there is the state of division and what our collective identity is facing in terms of challenges and fragmentation, alongside the weakness of the Arab situation and the normalization that has occurred, as well as the inadequacy of global action at the level of international organizations, states, and peoples. These are factors behind Netanyahu and the Zionist right's bravado and his talk of a great victory and that he is on the way to achieving the biblical heresies about greater Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates, creating a new Middle East led by Israel.

However, all of this attempts to escape from the Palestinian truth, especially the demographic truth.

What will thwart all of Netanyahu's plans and dreams is not international or Arab reactions, nor Iran and its resistance axis, nor the armed Palestinian resistance, but the fact of the existence of 7 million Palestinians inside Palestine and an equal number outside it who carry the Palestinian identity, and the world recognizes that they are Palestinians and have the right to have a state on their land or a part of it.

There is no doubt that the Palestinians are politically and ideologically divided, but their mere presence on their land is what has thwarted the establishment of a purely Jewish state, with the greatest credit going to the Palestinians of the Green Line first, even if the occupation has imposed on them the carrying of Israeli nationality and some have served in the occupation army and affiliated with Zionist parties. The number of these, as activist Ayman Odeh says, does not exceed 1% of Palestinians inside, followed by the credit to the Palestinians of the West Bank and Gaza Strip who carried the Palestinian identity and embraced the revolution and thwarted displacement projects since the 1950s despite all the suffering they endure.

How can Israel expand outside of Palestine when it is incapable of absorbing or subjugating those it controls among the Palestinian people? How can it be a Jewish state with more than half of its population being non-Jews?

Netanyahu is moving forward to escape the existential crisis of the State of Israel, and the problem, as we mentioned, is not Hamas and the resistance factions and their weapons but the Palestinian people themselves. Here we reiterate what we said at the beginning of the war: the highest form of resistance at this stage is the steadfastness of the people on their land. The true resistors and fighters are those who support the steadfastness of the people, not the bearers of arms and those with grand slogans who (struggle) through screens and social media, especially the audience of Al Jazeera and its mercenaries.
