The Worst is Yet to Come if Positions Remain the Same

If the world continues its silence, which reaches the level of complicity with Israel, and if the Arabs persist in their failure and silence, which also approaches complicity with the occupation, and if the Palestinian official and popular situation remains unchanged wherever it is present... If this situation continues, and because the enemy knows what it is doing and is not confused as some say, but instead operates within a studied plan, we should expect Israel to attempt to do the following things that are worse:

1-           Israel will not allow the rebuilding of what it has destroyed in the Gaza Strip, even if a ceasefire is reached.

2-           The enemy will not allow the reconstruction of the camps it has destroyed in the West Bank or the return of the residents to them.

3-           There will be no allowance for communication between the West Bank and the Gaza Strip in any form whatsoever.

4-           The extension of the Palestinian Authority's mandate to the Gaza Strip will not be allowed.

5-           Israel will not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state that includes the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

6-           Israel will continue to tighten restrictions on the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank regarding its areas of operation or authority until it ends its presence as a national entity, becomes unable to perform its functions toward citizens, or turns into newly created village associations.

7-           Israel will not keep more than two million people in the Gaza Strip after a ceasefire (uprooting).

8-           Israel will not end the war on the Gaza Strip and will continue to employ the illusion that the goal of the war is to eliminate Hamas and free prisoners until it completes its plans in the West Bank for total or partial annexation and uprooting the residents of Gaza.

9-           Israel, along with the Trump administration, will continue to talk about the danger of Hamas and exaggerate its military capabilities, as well as the alleged Iranian nuclear threat, and will exploit to the fullest the state of terror and the extent of destruction in the Gaza Strip, using it as a tool of intimidation in other fronts, especially Lebanon and Syria, and hasten the normalization process.

10-       In its path to achieving its strategic objectives, Israel will work to create more chaos and internal fighting in the Palestinian territories and encourage rebellion against the two authorities in the West Bank and Gaza, akin to the phenomenon of Sheikh al-Jabari in Hebron and the Abu Shabab group in the Gaza Strip. It will perform a similar role in Syria and Lebanon and may move in the same direction in other countries such as Egypt and Jordan.

This perspective may seem pessimistic and binds everything to the enemy's will, and this is true when considering that we are up against a criminal enemy that does not respect international legitimacy or recognize international law and operates under the notion that the global system is collapsing and in a state of chaos, which presents a historical opportunity for it to carry out plans that have been years in the making, and finds in unlimited American support a great aid for it. This is particularly true if Palestinian, Arab, and international positions remain unchanged.

The world that did not move seriously against the crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing and in the face of people dying of hunger in Gaza will not move if the worst occurs, especially since the majority of countries concerned about the conflict in Palestine and close to the event, such as the Gulf states, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, and European countries, know the reality of the Israeli plans.
