More than 35,000 travelers crossed the Al-Karama crossing last week
SadaNews - More than 35,000 citizens and visitors crossed the Al-Karama crossing during the past week, while the police arrested 34 individuals wanted by the judiciary.
The number of departures during the week was 16,188 people, while the number of incoming travelers was 19,640 people, indicating that travel activity was active.
During the same period, the police arrested 34 individuals who were wanted by the judiciary and prohibited from traveling, either while attempting to leave through the crossing or upon their arrival into Palestinian territories. These individuals are wanted in cases filed before the courts and public prosecutor's office.
The police and all security and civil agencies in the General Administration of Crossings and Borders provided numerous facilities and services to all citizens, including coordination for 8 medical cases for travel between both sides of the crossing in Palestinian ambulance vehicles.
