Raids in the West Bank and Jerusalem, Arrests and Clashes in Several Areas
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a wide campaign of incursions and raids at dawn and on Tuesday morning, which targeted cities, towns, and camps in the West Bank. This included clashes in several areas, resulting in injuries and cases of asphyxiation due to the firing of tear gas canisters, in addition to the arrest of several Palestinians and the raiding of dozens of homes, tampering with their contents.
During the campaign, the occupation forces detained citizens and subjected them to field interrogations after abusing them for hours, while preventing ambulance crews from reaching a medical case in the town of Beit Furik east of Nablus due to the closure of one of the checkpoints.
In Qalqilya Governorate, the occupation forces stormed the city from its eastern entrance, raiding a house in the Khillat Yasin area and several houses in the village of Jit east of the governorate.
Clashes erupted with the youth, accompanied by the firing of sound bombs. The forces also confiscated one citizen's vehicle after raiding a store inside a commercial complex, and arrested the released prisoner Abu Anas Muslih Nazal following the raid on his home, as part of a campaign of arrests that targeted several Palestinians, including released prisoners.
In Nablus, the occupation forces stormed several areas, including the vicinity of the village of Madama south of the city and the Al-Ma'ajin neighborhood to its west, in addition to entering from the direction of the "Alon Moreh" settlement, at the same time obstructing the work of ambulance crews in Beit Furik due to the checkpoint closure.
The incursions also reached Hebron Governorate, where the occupation forces stormed the Sha'abah area in the city and the al-Aroub camp north of the governorate, in addition to raiding a house in the town of Tuqu' southeast of Bethlehem, another house in the village of Al-Mughayer east of Jenin, alongside storming the town of Anza south of Jenin, and conducting raids in the city of Salfit and the Ain al-Sultan camp north of Jericho.
In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces stormed the Al-Kasarat neighborhood adjacent to the Qalandia camp and spread throughout the area, also firing tear gas on Airport Street near the camp, without any reports of detentions.
In Ramallah, the occupation forces stormed the village of Al-Mughayer northeast of the city, spreading in various areas within it, amid ongoing incursions and attacks that the village and its surrounding towns face, in parallel with the increasing assaults by settlers against the residents and their properties.
The occupation forces also stormed the town of Beit Leqia west of Ramallah, spreading in its streets without any registrations of arrests or raids.
