Occupation Launches Extensive Raids and Arrests in the West Bank and Jerusalem

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-ranging campaign of incursions and raids targeting several areas in the West Bank since the early hours of this Monday morning, which included clashes resulting in injuries and cases of suffocation due to tear gas inhalation.

The occupation forces also arrested a number of Palestinians after storming and searching their homes, subjecting the residents to field interrogations before transferring the detainees to investigation centers.

In Jenin Governorate, occupation forces stormed the towns of Jaba and Maythalun, raiding several homes.

In Nablus, the raids included Balata camp east of the city, where young man Basil Ishtayeh was arrested after his home was raided, and young man Moataz Jaser Abu Hamada was arrested while passing through the Zaatara checkpoint.

In Hebron, occupation forces stormed the town of Al-Shuyukh and raided several homes, while young man Islam Omar Shalaldeh was arrested from the town of Sa'ir after his home was raided.

In Bethlehem, occupation forces stormed the Wad Ma’ali area and raided a house.

Jericho witnessed an incursion into Al-Quds Street without recorded raids, whereas in Ramallah, occupation forces stormed the village of Deir Ammar, the city center, and the village of Kafr Malik.

This coincided with settlers burning a house under construction and storming the vicinity of the Abu Awad family's home on the outskirts of the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah.
