Occupation Begins Expansion of Road for Tarousa Settlement Southwest of Hebron
SadaNews: Israeli occupation forces started today, Monday, land leveling works to expand the road extending between the towns of Idna and Dura southwest of Hebron, for the benefit of the Tarousa settlement, which the occupation has recently begun establishing on the lands and properties of citizens southwest of Hebron.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces, accompanied by bulldozers and heavy machinery, began leveling works to expand the road starting from Khirbat Soba passing through Khirbat Hamisa, over a length of approximately eight kilometers.
Abdul Rahman Tamizi, the director of public relations at the Idna municipality, stated that the occupation authorities and their settlers are seeking to impose a new geographical reality in the western part of the Hebron governorate by implementing a colonial plan targeting a road that extends for about eight kilometers, starting from the bypass road number 35 in the Farsh al-Hawa area, passing through the lands of the town of Idna, Khirbat Soba, and the village of al-Koum, reaching the Tarousa area where the occupation has recently begun to establish a settlement at the highest hill there.
