Incursions and Arrests in the West Bank and Jerusalem; Settler Attacks in Nablus

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces executed a series of incursions early Wednesday in several governorates of the West Bank, which included house raids and arrests, while confrontations erupted in some areas, and settlers attacked Palestinian properties south of Nablus by uprooting electricity poles.

In Jenin governorate, occupation forces stormed the home of the martyr Nour El-Din Fayad in the Wadi Burqin area west of the city, arresting his father, and also raided homes in the village of Aaba east of Jenin, where they extensively fired illumination grenades.

Additionally, special occupation units arrested a young man named Mahmoud Ajaj Abu Khair following a raid on his home in the town of Silat al-Harithiya west of the city.

In Qalqilya, occupation forces arrested two young men, Khaled Shobash and Mohammed Hassan Moheisin, after raiding their homes in the city and the village of the Fandaq east of the governorate, as well as arresting another young man at the Qalandia military checkpoint north of occupied Jerusalem, coinciding with incursions and search operations in several areas.

The occupation forces also stormed the Aqbat Jabr refugee camp in Jericho, raiding a house inside it, in addition to storming a residential building on Jerusalem Street in the city.

In Nablus governorate, settlers uprooted electricity poles in the Ayn al-Rasha area west of Qusra village, while occupation forces stormed the town of Aqaba and the city of Nablus from the Deir Sharaf checkpoint, in addition to the vicinity of the Ayn refugee camp.

The forces later withdrew from the city after a military operation that lasted for hours, focusing on the Ain Beit al-Ma camp, where they raided homes and turned one into a field investigation center, detaining a number of young men.

In Tulkarem, the occupation forces fired sound bombs during a raid on the eastern neighborhood, and also stormed the Qezoun area in the city of Hebron.

As for occupied Jerusalem, occupation forces stormed the town of Hizma north of the city, and confrontations erupted near the Qalandia camp, coinciding with the establishment of a flying military checkpoint in front of vehicle movement.
