Palestine Bank Association Holds Its Annual General Meeting

SadaNews - The general assembly of the Bank Association in Palestine held its annual ordinary meeting on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the association's headquarters in Ramallah – Al-Masyoun, with the presence of the chairman of the board of directors, Mr. Maher Al-Masri, representatives of member banks, a representative from the Palestinian Monetary Authority, the legal advisor for the association, Itqan Company, and the external auditor.

The session commenced after ensuring quorum was met, where the general assembly approved the annual report of the association's activities for 2025, which highlighted its significant achievements, activities, and initiatives throughout the year, as part of its efforts to enhance the role of the Palestinian banking sector and serve the national economy.

The general assembly also approved the final accounts of the association and the legal auditor's report for the financial year 2025, and confirmed the work plan and estimated budget for the year 2026, in line with the association's strategic directions and priorities for the upcoming phase.

The meeting concluded by reaffirming the association's commitment to continue implementing its programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing cooperation among member banks and reinforcing its role as a representative umbrella for the Palestinian banking sector, which contributes to supporting its stability and enhancing its role in economic development.
