Kuwaiti Army Announces Response to Rocket and Drone Attacks

SadaNews - The Kuwaiti army announced on Wednesday morning that it is responding to attacks by rockets and drones, following Iran's threat to retaliate against a wave of U.S. strikes.

The Kuwaiti army wrote on the "X" platform: "The Kuwaiti air defenses are currently responding to hostile rocket and drone attacks."

It added: "The General Staff of the army notes that if the sounds of explosions are heard, they are a result of the air defense systems intercepting the hostile attacks."

The Kuwaiti army concluded its statement by saying: "Everyone is requested to adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities."

These developments come amid concerns about the impact of the escalation on efforts to end the war in the Middle East.
