Shabak Arrests American for Spying on Behalf of Iran
SadaNews Translation - The Israeli Security Agency "Shabak" announced on Wednesday evening that it had arrested an American citizen on suspicion of spying for Iranian intelligence.
According to the statement, translated by SadaNews, the detainee is 20 years old and was arrested last month on suspicion of being recruited and working for Iranian intelligence.
The statement indicated that the detainee had been in contact with Iranian operators for months, sending videos and photos of sensitive locations on behalf of his handlers, and receiving a financial payment ranging from tens to hundreds of thousands of shekels in return.
It was mentioned that an indictment has been filed against him.
