Occupation Closes the Headquarters of the Solidarity Charitable Association in Nablus for One Year

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces closed today, Tuesday, the headquarters of the Solidarity Charitable Association in the Al-Adl street area in the center of Nablus for one year, after raiding it and damaging its contents.

Security and local sources informed the official agency that several Israeli military vehicles stormed the areas of Sufyan Street and Al-Adl Street before raiding the association's headquarters, where occupation soldiers carried out acts of destruction inside the building that lasted more than two hours.

The sources added that occupation soldiers were seen extending wires from inside the association's headquarters to the outside, while the nature of the operations they were conducting inside the building was not clear at the time.

They indicated that before the occupation forces withdrew from the area, they closed the Sakhtyan building, which houses the office of the Solidarity Association in Al-Laham, and hung a sign at its entrance claiming that the association is "illegal and supports terrorism". They also delivered a military order to close it and prohibit entry, use, or any activities within it for a year, starting from the date of issuance of the decision.

The occupation forces imposed a military cordon around the vicinity of the association in the areas of Sufyan Street and Al-Adl Street throughout the duration of the incursion, before withdrawing from the location.

This comes just hours after the occupation forces stormed the Balata and Aida camps east of Nablus city at dawn today, where they conducted raids and searches, with no arrests reported.
