Bezhkian: We Will Not Retreat in Negotiations with Washington Regarding Our Rights

SadaNews - Iranian President Masoud Bezhkian confirmed that his country will not retreat in the negotiations with Washington regarding its rights, interests, and national principles under any circumstances.

He emphasized that the negotiating team operates based on a clear vision rooted in national constants, rejecting any attempts to impose external dictates or political pressures.

Bezhkian clarified that some domestic factions are trying to distort the image of the negotiating team and cast doubt on national decisions, coinciding with media campaigns waged by hostile media, considering that these attempts will not affect the course of the negotiation process. He affirmed that all stages of negotiations were conducted in complete and continuous coordination with the Supreme Leader and within the approved legal mechanisms in the country.

The Iranian president pointed out that the final text of the agreement was reviewed at the technical and security levels by the relevant authorities and received decisive support from members of the Supreme National Security Council. He added that the primary objective of the negotiations was to protect the rights of the Iranian people and preserve their national interests, asserting that his country did not and will not yield to the demands imposed by enemies.

Bezhkian concluded his remarks by stating that the recent agreement is considered a new achievement for the Iranian people in the diplomatic field, reflecting Tehran's ability to defend its interests and achieve political gains despite the challenges and security constraints.
