Settlers Storm Citizens' Homes in Khirbat al-Ras al-Ahmar
SadaNews - On Tuesday, settlers stormed a number of citizens' homes in Khirbat al-Ras al-Ahmar, southeast of Tubas Governorate, causing destruction and also damaging a surveillance camera system in the area.
The official responsible for the Jordan Valley file in Tubas Governorate, Mu’taz Basharat, reported to the official agency that masked settlers wearing Israeli military uniforms invaded six homes belonging to citizens in Khirbat al-Ras al-Ahmar and tampered with their contents.
Basharat added that the settlers also destroyed a surveillance camera system in the area before leaving the site.
Khirbat al-Ras al-Ahmar, located in the northern Jordan Valley, faces repeated assaults from the Israeli occupation forces and settlers, including invasions of residential gatherings, raids on citizens' homes, and attacks on their properties, as part of a policy of tightening aimed at displacing Palestinian residents and controlling more land in the Jordan Valley.
