Interior Minister Concludes Official Visit to the Republic of Turkey and Discusses Prospects for Cooperation and Coordination Between the Two Sides

SadaNews - Today, Interior Minister Ziad Hab al-Rih concluded a three-day official visit to the Republic of Turkey at the head of an official delegation that included the General Director of the Police, Major General Alaa Al-Saqa, the General Director of the Civil Defense, Major General Akram Thawabteh, and the Director of the Arab and International Cooperation Unit, Brigadier Dr. Mahmoud Salah El-Din. The visit included several meetings and official discussions, the most prominent of which was a meeting with Turkish Interior Minister Mr. Mustafa Cevdet.

During the meeting with the Turkish Interior Minister, which was attended by the Palestinian Ambassador to Turkey Nasri Abu Jish and the Palestinian Military Attaché Brigadier Shadi Abu Zneit, Minister Hab al-Rih emphasized the depth of Palestinian-Turkish relations, appreciating the Turkish positions supporting the Palestinian people. The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the ministries of interior and exchange experiences. The Turkish minister also reaffirmed his country's position supporting Palestine and the necessity of reaching a solution that ensures security, stability, and peace in the region.

The visit included a tour of the Turkish Police Academy and the Emergency and Response Center (112) to learn about the Turkish experience in emergency response and crisis management.

Minister Hab al-Rih also visited the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Ankara, where he met with the embassy staff and a number of members of the Palestinian community and representatives of unions in the presence of the Consul General of the State of Palestine in Istanbul and the Sea of Marmara cities, Muath Al-Atrash, and briefed them on the results of his official meetings and the latest developments in the general situation in Palestine.
