Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates: The Palestinian Community in Venezuela is Safe
SadaNews - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates reassured Palestinians on Thursday evening regarding the situation of the Palestinian community in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela following the earthquakes that struck the country.
The ministry confirmed that there are no losses in lives among our people there, and it is monitoring the situation of the Palestinian community through the Embassy of the State of Palestine to ensure their safety, according to its statement.
The ministry indicated that the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Venezuela is in constant communication with all community leaders and Palestinian organizations there to check on our people and provide any assistance possible, despite the communication difficulties due to severe damage to the phone network caused by the earthquake. This is as stated in the announcement.
The embassy urged all Palestinians and students located in the affected areas to follow the instructions and guidelines issued by the responsible authorities.
