Iraq Reopens Its Airspace After Closing Due to Reciprocal Iranian-Israeli Strikes
SadaNews - Iraq reopened its airspace on Monday afternoon, a day after announcing its closure for 72 hours due to the start of reciprocal Iranian-Israeli strikes.
The Civil Aviation Authority noted in a statement that it had "reopened the Iraqi airspace to flights to and from all Iraqi airports, and resumed air traffic there," confirming its ongoing efforts to "monitor and assess the (regional) situations," as reported by the "French Press Agency."
Earlier on Monday, the Iranian armed forces announced a "halt" to their strikes on Israel, following a first exchange of attacks between the two sides since the ceasefire announced on April 8.
