Jerusalem Governorate Water Utility: The suspension of water pumping from Ein Samiya wells is still ongoing
SadaNews - The Jerusalem Governorate Water Utility confirmed that the suspension of water pumping from the Ein Samiya wells is still ongoing following the recent settler attacks, which is affecting water supply in the northeastern areas in general, and specifically: Jifna, Dura al-Qar’a, Ein Saniya, Birzeit, Al-Mazra'a al-Gharbiyah, Kobar, and Abu Shkheidem.
The utility urged citizens, particularly in the affected areas, to conserve water usage and limit it to essential needs until pumping is resumed.
It also confirmed that efforts and communications are ongoing with the brothers in the Water Authority and the Civil Liaison to secure access for technical teams to the well sites and repair the damages, enabling them to resume operations and begin pumping water again as soon as possible.
It indicated that citizens will be informed as soon as pumping resumes and water supply returns.
