Dozens Dead and Injured in Collision of Passenger Buses on Deir ez-Zor - Damascus Road
SadaNews - The Syrian Ministry of Health reported today (Saturday) the death of 35 individuals and the injury of 30 others as a result of a horrific traffic accident on the Damascus - Deir ez-Zor road between the areas of Sukhnah and Palmyra in Homs countryside.
The Syrian Civil Defense stated that the accident occurred due to the collision of two passenger buses on the road, and they are continuing to evacuate the deceased and the injured to nearby hospitals.
The SANA agency reported that the Ministry of Defense sent helicopters to assist in the evacuation of the casualties from the accident.
