Martyr and Injuries in Israeli Shelling on Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis
SadaNews - A girl was martyred early Friday, and about 20 others were injured with varying degrees of wounds, as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting a tent for displaced persons in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, the martyr is Bushra Al-Barahma (18 years old), who was martyred due to the airstrike on a tent adjacent to the one where she lives with her family.
The shelling caused significant damage to the nearby tents of the displaced persons in the area.
Several areas have been subjected to artillery shelling and demolition along the yellow line.
The Gaza Strip has been witnessing an intensified Israeli escalation recently, raising the number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 10, 2025, to more than 970.
In the past month of May, 119 martyrs were recorded, the highest number since the beginning of this year, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
