Katz: Determined to Crush Hezbollah's Power and Complete the Mission

SadaNews - Israel's Minister of Defense, Israel Katz, confirmed what the Israeli army had announced regarding the control of the strategic Shakif Fortress in southern Lebanon.

Katz stated in a statement today, Sunday, that Israeli forces have taken control of the strategic Shakif Heights and crossed the Litani River, considering it one of the most important strategic sites to protect the settlements in the Galilee.

He emphasized that Israel is "determined to crush Hezbollah's power and complete the mission," as he put it. He added, "Our enemies will lose their strategic positions one after another."

This comes after the Israeli army reported earlier today that its forces "crossed the Litani River and expanded their attacks against Hezbollah to the north of the river, while operations are expanding to additional areas."

This follows the confirmation of control over the Shakif Fortress, which was built by the Crusaders centuries ago on the highest mountain in southern Lebanon.
