Injuries and Arrests During the Occupation's Raids in the West Bank

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a wide campaign of raids and incursions at dawn and on the morning of Monday, affecting several cities and towns in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. This was accompanied by confrontations in some areas, arrests of several Palestinians, in addition to storming dozens of homes, searching them, and tampering with their contents, along with detaining residents and conducting field investigations with them for several hours.

In the northern West Bank, occupation forces stormed the cities of Tubas and Aqaba, carried out extensive raids and searches of homes, and arrested young man Muhammad Khairi Suwafta.

Simultaneously, the region witnessed other incursions into the towns of Far'ata east of Qalqilya, and Deir Abu Da'if east of Jenin, in addition to the raiding of a house in the Al-Hadaf area near Jenin camp, and the storming of Zita town north of Tulkarem, where young man Yazan Hazem Al-Ainabousi was arrested.

In Nablus, a foot force stormed the Old Askar camp east of the city, and occupation forces raided homes in the town of Sabastiya northwest of the governorate.

This coincided with attacks carried out by settlers, which included throwing stones at Palestinian vehicles near the village of Burin.

In the southern West Bank, occupation forces stormed the city of Hebron and the town of Deir Samet west of Dora.

Local sources reported that a number of citizens suffocated during the storming of the town of Dora south of Hebron after the forces fired tear gas canisters, closed commercial shops, and detained several young men, amidst acts of abuse against the residents.

In the town of Ram north of occupied Jerusalem, incursions continued, while the Prisoners' Club reported that occupation forces brutally assaulted journalist Abdul Rahman Awad and his father during the raid of their home in the village of Budrus west of Ramallah, before transferring them to the hospital.

A 15-year-old boy was also injured by live bullets during the storming of the town of Beit Fajjar south of Bethlehem, after occupation forces fired towards citizens, leading to his injury in the legs, and he was later transferred to the hospital for treatment.
