Land Authority completes the settlement of 16 basins and issues 1,600 registration documents in several governorates

SadaNews - The Palestinian Land Authority announced a new achievement within the land settlement project, which involved the approval of 16 settlement basins by the settlement judge, covering a total area of 3,722 dunams, resulting in the issuance of 1,600 registration documents after completing the approved legal procedures.

The Land Authority explained that the approved basins included the governorates of Nablus, Bethlehem, Hebron, Tulkarm, and Qalqilya, as part of the continued implementation of the settlement works according to the approved national plan, contributing to stabilizing property rights and organizing ownership.

The Director-General of Settlement, Mr. Qassem Kanaan, confirmed that the ongoing achievements in various governorates reflect the determination of the settlement teams to continue their work despite the current conditions and challenges, noting that the settlement project forms a national and legal tool for protecting Palestinian land and enhancing the steadfastness of citizens in facing actions targeting land and property.

Kanaan added that the Land Authority continues to develop work procedures and improve field and technical performance, which contributes to speeding up the completion of transactions and expanding the scope of services provided to citizens according to the approved legal standards.

The Land Authority urged citizens to follow official announcements and approach the relevant registration departments to issue registration documents, ensuring the protection of rights and organizing ownership according to the approved legal standards.
