Hebrew Channel Reveals Involvement of Field Officer in Shin Bet in Smuggling Goods to Gaza

Translation by SadaNews - Channel 13 reported on Monday evening that a combat field officer in the Israeli Security Agency "Shin Bet" was involved in smuggling goods worth millions of shekels into the Gaza Strip.

According to the Hebrew channel, as translated by SadaNews, this officer participated in one of the most complex and daring war operations, known as Operation Arnon, during which four Israeli prisoners were rescued from the al-Nasirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

The combat officer is a familiar figure in the operations department and played an active role in rescuing the four prisoners, according to the channel.

The channel indicated that despite his outstanding operational record, the field officer was arrested more than four months ago and has been in custody under the supervision of the Shin Bet since then.

His family members expressed their strong dissatisfaction with the conditions of his detention, asserting that the system is treating him with extreme cruelty that is unusual compared to similar cases, referring to the brother of the head of the Shin Bet.
