Thousands perform Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque

SadaNews - Tens of thousands of worshippers performed the Friday prayer at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the measures taken by the Israeli occupation forces at military checkpoints and the streets of the city and around the Old Town and the mosque.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces were deployed in the streets of Jerusalem, erected iron barriers at the gates of the Old Town and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, stopped young men to check their identities, and detained some of them.

It was noted that the occupation forces stopped young men and checked their identities on Al-Wad Street in the Old City of Jerusalem, forcing them to leave the area and preventing them from reaching the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
