The Administrative Committee Overseeing the Guidance Mission Meets with Pilgrims' Guides for the Current Hajj Season

SadaNews - The main administrative committee overseeing the guidance mission met today, Thursday, with the guides of the Hajj mission for the current season in the hall of the Jamal Abdel Nasser Mosque in the city of Al-Bireh. The meeting was attended by the Director General of Guidance and Counseling, the head of the guidance mission team, Wafiq Al-Alawi, the deputy head of the team, Nasser Salman, the team coordinator, Mahmoud Abu Hussein, committee member Hamid Draghmeh, and the head of the female preachers and guides team, Bashair Al-Auywi.

Al-Alawi reviewed the administrative and preaching arrangements and the duties of the guides, urging them to be patient and to deal with the pilgrims with ease and compassion during the rituals. The guides were also introduced to the members of the approved guidance committees for easier communication.

He emphasized the importance of adhering to the preaching and guidance programs in Medina and Mecca, based on the programs prepared by the Director of Friday Sermons, team coordinator Mahmoud Abu Hussein.

During the meeting, Abu Hussein presented the guidance programs in detail, explaining the schedules prepared and organized according to the established system in the guidance mission, covering all aspects for the guides including sermons, prayers, administrative shifts, and more.

In turn, Al-Auywi spoke about the behavioral and moral aspects of female preachers, emphasizing the need for patience and being aware of the meanings of Hajj throughout the rituals. Maher Jamous and Nabeih Abu Ara discussed in detail the use of the website that will be utilized by both the guides and the pilgrims during their journey, highlighting its benefits and the valuable administrative and religious information it contains.

For his part, Salman detailed the rituals of Hajj comprehensively, and a booklet containing detailed explanations of the rituals and etiquettes of Hajj was distributed.

The meeting also witnessed guiding interventions from the Director of the Quran Department, committee member Hamid Draghmeh.
