West Bank: Widespread Raids Accompanied by Clashes and Arrests
SadaNews - Various areas in the West Bank witnessed a wide campaign of raids executed by Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday morning and dawn, which were accompanied by field clashes, raids, and arrests, in addition to extensive tear gas firing leading to injuries and cases of suffocation.
The operations were concentrated in the provinces of Ramallah, Hebron, and Jenin, where a noticeable escalation in raids and military checkpoints was recorded, amidst repeated clashes with Palestinian youth.
In Ramallah, the occupation forces raided the village of Al-Mughayir and set up a military checkpoint at its western entrance, and arrested the young man Qassem Marwan Abu Aliya.
The town of Kafr Malik witnessed heavy firing of sound and gas bombs, while fires broke out at a military observation post near Silwad after being targeted by Palestinian youth. Raids also extended to the villages of Abu Falah, Kafr Malik, and Silwad, which included the arrest of young man Abdul Aziz Faqouqi.
In Hebron, clashes erupted in the town of Sa'ir with the firing of gas bombs, while the occupation forces raided areas in Dura and "Al-Karantina," turning one of the houses into a military barrack, along with the raid of the village of Susiya and the arrest of citizen Nasir Nawaj'ah in Masafer Yatta.
In Jenin and its vicinity, the occupation forces raided several towns including Methlon and Sanour, with military reinforcements, while a nearby area of Jenin camp was targeted with explosive devices, and similar targeting occurred in Silat al-Harithiya during the hours.
In Nablus, the occupation forces raided the village of Salem and arrested the young man Walid Hani Ishtayya, coinciding with violent clashes in the town of Qusra.
Tulkarm also witnessed raids into the towns of Attil and Deir al-Ghusun with the establishment of a military checkpoint and checking identities, while Salfit recorded damages to a settler's vehicle after being pelted with stones near the village of Marda.
In Qalqilya, the occupation forces raided the village of Kafr Qaddum and carried out patrols inside it, while the raids in Jerusalem targeted the town of Hizma north of the city.
