85 Killed Since the Beginning of the Year: Young Woman Killed Near Rahat and Young Man in Kfar Qasim
SadaNews - A young woman (27 years old) was shot dead in a crime committed near the city of Rahat in the Negev late on Monday evening, while a young man was killed in another shooting incident in Kfar Qasim. This brings the total number of fatalities in the Palestinian community in the year 48 to 85, including 7 women.
As for the crime that occurred in Kfar Qasim, local sources reported that the victim is the young man Ahmad Issa.
With the two crimes committed on Monday, the death toll from murder in the Arab community since the beginning of this year has reached 85, while the police have only resolved 8 cases of murder, amidst ongoing criticism regarding their failure to provide security for Arab citizens and allegations of complicity with organized crime.
Since the beginning of April, 11 people have been killed, including 7 women. Three young men were shot by the police, along with three boys under the age of 18, without these figures including the occupied city of Jerusalem.
