Ambassador Arafat Briefs German Deputy Foreign Minister on Latest Developments in Palestine
SadaNews - The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Germany, Lyth Arafat, briefed German Deputy Foreign Minister Bernard Kouch on the latest political and field developments in Palestine, in light of the serious escalation being perpetrated by the Israeli occupation.
During the meeting, held at the German Foreign Office in the capital Berlin, various serious violations committed by the occupation were reviewed, including colonial expansion, decisions regarding the construction of new settlements, and ongoing annexation attempts.
The discussions also addressed the terror of settlers, assaults on holy sites in occupied Jerusalem, and the continuation of crimes against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire, in addition to the worsening humanitarian conditions with the blockade on humanitarian aid.
Arafat expressed his appreciation for the recent German official positions regarding colonialism and annexation, as well as the stance on the law of executing prisoners, especially in light of what our prisoners are subjected to in the occupation's detention centers, affirming the aspiration to continue strengthening and developing bilateral relations on various levels.
