Russian Drone Violates Romanian Airspace
SadaNews - The Romanian Ministry of Defense stated today (Friday) that radar systems detected a drone penetrating the country's airspace during a night attack launched by Russia on neighboring Ukraine, before losing track of it southeast of the border village of Cilia Vechi, according to the Reuters news agency.
Romania is a member of both the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). It shares a land border extending approximately 650 kilometers with Ukraine and has previously experienced violations of its airspace by drones or falling debris on its territory.
