Ambassador Laith Arfa Briefs Foreign Relations Committee Member Aydin Ozooguz on Developments in Palestine

SadaNews - Ambassador of Palestine in Berlin, Laith Arfa, briefed Foreign Relations Committee member Aydin Ozooguz on the developments in Palestine amid the ongoing serious Israeli escalation in the territory.

The meeting addressed the continuous crimes against our people in the Gaza Strip, including the ongoing humanitarian disaster, in addition to the brutal violations in Jerusalem, including assaults on sacred places, foremost among them Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the escalation of organized settler terrorism sponsored by the occupying government, as well as decisions related to the construction of dozens of new settlements in the West Bank, repeated incursions carried out by the occupation army, and the theft of Palestinian tax revenues.

Ambassador Arfa also reviewed the plight of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation's prisons and detention centers, including the execution law for prisoners approved by the Israeli Knesset.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Ambassador Arfa expressed his appreciation for Ozooguz's positions, praising the role of an important current within the Social Democratic Party of Germany that supports the Palestinian cause, and reaffirming the Palestinian side's aspiration to enhance partnership with Germany.
