US Intelligence Report: Iran Still Retains Half of Its Missile Power

SadaNews - New US intelligence assessments, revealed by CNN on Thursday night, indicate that Iran still retains half of its missile power.

According to these assessments, Iran also possesses thousands of suicide drones within its military arsenal.

The report is based on US intelligence evaluations and three sources familiar with the matter, showing that Iran's missile launch capability remains significant.

One source who spoke to the American network said: "They are still capable of causing massive chaos in the region."

The intelligence assessment also includes that there are launch platforms that are difficult to access, such as those buried under rubble that were not completely destroyed by Israeli and American strikes.

According to the report, Iran still has thousands of drones, which are nearly half of its previous stockpile.

Recent intelligence gathered suggests that a large portion of Iran's cruise missiles remains intact.

These missiles are a key tool through which Iran can threaten and disrupt navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

US President Donald Trump continuously claims in his media statements, the latest of which was in a speech delivered early Thursday, that Iran's capability to launch missiles and drones has significantly decreased.

One source also noted the timeline set by Trump, which ranges from two to three weeks to end the war, and said this is an unrealistic goal given the arsenal Iran still possesses. He added: "We can continue to inflict damage on them, there's no doubt about that, but it's completely crazy to think that this can be achieved in two weeks."

Israeli military sources reported that the number of remaining operational launch platforms for Iran is even lower, at about 25%.

The report noted that Israel does not take into account the launch platforms that are hard to access and buried under rubble due to airstrikes.
