SadaNews - The Palestinian Working Women Development Society, in partnership with the Gender Forum in Local Governance, has launched an incubator to provide legal and media consultations to support female candidates in local elections, in a step aimed at enhancing their active participation and empowering them to engage in the electoral process with confidence and competence.

The society confirmed that the incubator services include a group of experts in the field of local elections and aim to provide candidates with accurate information about electoral procedures, in addition to media support that contributes to building their public presence and effective communication with the public, along with legal guidance to ensure understanding of the rights and duties related to candidacy.

The society clarified that this initiative comes in response to the growing need for support for women in the political field, and to enhance their role in decision-making positions, contributing to achieving fair and inclusive representation in local bodies.
