Ministry of Health Launches Third Catch-Up Campaign for Vaccinating Children Under Three in Gaza Strip
SadaNews - The Ministry of Health announced today, Tuesday, the launch of the third catch-up campaign to enhance the national vaccination program for children under the age of three, starting from Sunday, April 5, and lasting for five days.
The ministry stated that the campaign is being implemented in cooperation and partnership with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, and with support from UNICEF and the World Health Organization, through 129 health centers in various governorates of the Gaza Strip affiliated with the ministry, UNRWA, and the Red Crescent along with local and international institutions.
The Ministry of Health urged citizens to cooperate with health teams and bring their children to complete the missed vaccine doses, stressing the importance of bringing the vaccination card if available, to ensure accurate recording of the doses.
The ministry emphasized that vaccination represents the first line of defense against epidemics and diseases that threaten the lives of children who have not completed their basic vaccine doses.
